What is the Best, Nikon or Canon?

Many ask me if Nikon cameras are better or are the Canon. The answer, for you to walk justices of time and there may be able to read the whole article is that there is no better than the other brand by definition.
Those who want to know why keep reading.

Which is better SLR camera: Nikon or Canon?

Both Canon and Nikon are large prestigious brands renowned brands demonstrated over many years their worth and concern for offering the user a good product, high performance, and is the best possible combination of performance, price and quality .

I tell you one thing: if you find someone that I heartily recommend one of the two brands but criticizing the other brand, do not Lonely, that person does not know what he says. Seriously. In this field, there are many SLRs fanaticism, people that have had and tried lifetime with a brand X believe that this is the best brand in the world, and thus recommend to friends and family.

I can understand that because they have had positive experiences with a particular brand's wish to promote and recommend, until then all well, which does not seem appropriate is to be diligent in discrediting the other brand, only fanaticism, often with many unknowns .
Most people are inclined toward one brand or another, Canon, Nikon (or other brands) almost by chance or because a friend has had the mark, or because their price has seemed to us more affordable, etc. But today, there is no consensus among experts that a mark is CLEARLY better than the other. I know happily in love with the Nikon people (as is the case of a server) and others for whom photography is synonymous with the word "Canon".

If you look at most of the blogs, forums and websites analysis and criticism from both Canon and Nikon always find good and bad experiences. To me they are always good experiences that count, and that bad most of the time come from the fact that people buy cameras without first knowing what they want, because there is a camera for each of us and there to know to find her;)

That said, on to the specific facts and details:

Compatibilities

For most of his Nikon SLR cameras and lenses made since 1959 are compatible with each other.
Canon is not always the case, there are some limitations but in very rare cases such as if we use a previous target to 1985 is very likely not support us, but all EOS objectives are compatible with all EOS SLR.
An advantage of the Canon is that with a small adapter allows you to use Nikon objectives (those you come from Nikon and Nikkor but may have quisiƩrais pas aros the other side, the Canon possible).

Sales of New Models of Cameras

Nikon has a habit of announcing their cameras a couple of months or so before putting them up for sale, which is useful, because hurts spent one all their savings in an SLR to discover within 2 to 3 days that have already taken a new model. But basically this is a small flaw commercial management of Nikon. In this house has always been good but never knew advertize to sell their products quickly and flexibly. There were years when they announced a camera (I think the D100, back in 2002) and was not available for sale until almost a year and a half later.
Canon, however, advertised and is now selling their models almost instantly.

Image Quality

Do not be deceived, Nikon and Canon similar price usually offer similar qualities, with very few exceptions image. Even when some of these exceptions is given almost no one can see the difference in quality. Good photos are good, period, no matter if they were taken with a camera or other yes or no?

Easy Settings and Menu Options

My personal experience is that most Nikon adjustments we have to continuously play (ISO, white balance, exposure compensation, etc.) and have handy, accessible very quickly. Instead, the times I've used Canon acknowledge that I have found some slight complication because to get to the adjustment you have to enter the menu and find the setting in question.

Compression and Quality JPG

The theory is that the JPG photos full details, light and colors tend to occupy more space on the memory card, unlike darker images with less detail, less and fewer colorful objects that normally occupy less space.
Here the Canon cameras do a better job: When an image has a lot of details Canon cameras tend to generate a larger JPG file, and when it is not the case the JPG is usually smaller, as is logical. Nikon, however, tends to his JPG files all have the same size, thus wasting valuable space and spoiling the quality of the file many times.

Help

Most Nikon DSLR (I think all) have a small button with a question mark, for quick help. As you touch you explain the function in which you are at that time. Canon does not have that little button, you will have to always go to the book; -P

As you can see, each of the 2 big brands has its advantages and disadvantages, so do not eat the head, please do not you turn crazy, I know that a purchase of this caliber is a decision to be taken very carefully, but many times we make the mistake of listening to an opinion, then another, then another, and another and another, and just when we are about to make a purchase, we again read another review, and we go crazy.

I hope now you may have a little clearer. Neither Canon is better than Nikon or vice versa. Please speak ye there, recommendations and votes are appreciated;)
